40+6, not dilated or effaced, baby weighs more than 8lb already...

Today I’m 40 weeks and 6 days, 41 weeks tomorrow. I just had an exam yesterday and the dr told me I’m still completely closed, and my cervix isn’t softened at all. I’m having another exam tomorrow, but I’m losing all hope to get into labor naturally. Additionally, the dr said that my baby already weighs 8lb 15oz, and I’m only 5’6’’ (with pre-pregnancy weight of 115lbs) so I’m afraid I won’t even be able to birth this baby if I keep waiting for labor to start naturally.

Did any of you ladies go into labor soon after being completely closed? What about baby weight? How much did yours weigh? I feel like I’m the only one with these problems!
