Has anyone else had this happen ?

I’m 36 weeks 5 days with twins I’m scheduled to be induced next Friday at 37 and 6 but I thought I was going into labor on my own yesterday I started having contractions around 4pm and they was coming back to back started timing them they went from 15 to 10 mins apart sometimes closer. With a consistent back ache. Then around 9pm I went to sleep woke up at midnight and they had stopped. I’m actually kinda disappointed because I thought this was it but I guess not only thing I have now is the back ache 😖 has this happen to anyone? Was it labor trying to start ? I’m so confused
