OPK strips HELP

Jessica

I took an opk yesterday at 4:45 pm and it was peak, test line was way darker than the control line. I repeated the test again at 7:15 am this morning and the line is the same. Test line is darker than the control line. Does this just mean ovulation hasn't occured yet? And will the test line start to lighten up after ovulation happens? This is my first month using the strips to track ovulation. TIA!!
