Eggy discharge on the pill?

So i have been using the combination pill for quite sometime and i know it sips the eggy-white discharge that is an indication of ovulation most times.

This month, i was on the pill but i noticed that i HAD eggy discharges on the days i am supposed to ovulated.

Does this mean that the pill didn’t work and i ovulated?? I didn’t miss any and i started the pack on the third day of my period?

Does anyone else get eggy discharge on their ovulation days when they’re on the pill?
