Over feeding baby?

I was under the impression that with breast feeding you feed when baby says to and just let them eat. But this is the second time my baby has spit up literally everything in his stomach to the extent that it comes out of his nose while breast feeding. Idk what to do. He has an appointment on Monday

Try burping baby in the middle of a feeding.

That’s reflux! I think! Make sure that you keep his back elevated for at least 20 min after feeding. Don’t lay him down right away, also you can make him burp before you change the breast side. Good luck :)

If it continues after burping and then ask pediatrician, could be something in your milk. Also, if you have a fast/strong let-Down it can be too fast for the baby sometimes and cause issues. Try pumping a little before hand if you think that may be the cause.

How old is baby? Spitting up is totally normal and can often look like a whole meal even when it's just a couple tablespoons. If baby didn't seem bothered by it I wouldn't worry.

I was told it is almost impossible to overfeed a breastfed baby. I also think it sounds like reflux, which is quite normal.

Its not overfeeding. Try keeping baby upright for 30 min after a feed. My little one would occasionally do this as well

My 3 week old has spit up on me about 4-5 times 3 times out his nose, only when he doesn’t burp.
