Does your partner come to all your checkups with you or just ultrasounds?

As much as it would be neat if he had the time to come to every appointment, I see absolutely no need for him to take time off work to go to the 10 minute ones. He doesnt need to see me get my weight measured, temperature taken, blood pressure taken and then have the doctor ask if I have questions. If he has questions, I relay them at those visits. But since his job doesnt give PTO, I'd rather he stick to his work schedule!

My husband came to every last one for two pregnancies.

He came to the first couple with my first pregnancy, but he and I found it kind of unnecessary because they were really quick and just a check up. But he did come to the ultrasound. This pregnancy he hasn't come to any except the ultrasounds, which I'm OK with. He doesn't need to take time off work for me to pee in a cup, get blood pressure checked, etc. But that's just us.

My husband comes to every appt. He knows he doesn’t have to, but my office rotates you through all of the OBs since we don’t know who will be on call & he wants to meet them all too.

My husband only came to the anatomy scan with our first, and he hasn’t come to any for this baby. I’m 31 weeks, and he’s a busy dude supporting our family.

My partner comes to most, but I’m high risk so I see my midwife every week now over my blood pressure so I don’t expect him to be available every week. He definitely comes to the majority though 😊

For regular checkups he does not come most of the time because he works a lot but if he happens to have the day off he will definitely come along. With ultrasounds appts he definitely comes with me.

All of them for my first and now my second but he has the luxury of getting off work by 2pm since he goes in at 6am. So I make the appointments for around 3. We make a date out of it

We both wish he could come to all of them but he can’t take that many days off or afternoons off. We would rather save that time for when the baby is here.

I brought him with me to all my ultrasounds. Now that I am being seen twice weekly since I am in my third trimester I no longer bring him. I don’t want him missing his work plus these appointments take forever with nsts being done and stuff.
