Women puts her baby up for adoption due to her violent son

(I haven’t seen this posted but someone tell me if it has)

So earlier today I seen on YouTube the title “women claims she placed newborn for adoption because she ‘feared for his life’” (she appeared on dr. Phil). She says her 10-year-old is extremely violent, can/has overpowered a grown adult, has broke his other siblings door in half, has threatened to choke his mom/siblings till they die and said “I will murder you”. She also said that she really feels if he does kill one day, it will be her or his siblings. She said his biological dad was abusive, He’s not in the picture I think.

Anyway, she placed her newborn baby up for adoption because she feared his life because of her 10-year-old being so violent. My heart broke for her, I could never imagine having to make a decision like that. Some part of me tho feels the 10-year-old should get serious help, obviously. I wonder as to why she wouldn’t try sending her son away to some sort of therapy rehab, since he is so violent. I want to know other people’s opinion on this.

What would you do?

Do think she made the right choice by putting her baby up for adoption instead of finding her son help?
