Concerns?...

autumn

I’m currently breastfeeding my second baby. I gave up way to early with my first son and I’m so proud of how far I’ve been able to go with my second son. But with that being said, my pediatrician is concerned with his growth, and it has definitely been bothering me. He’s 12 pounds 8 ounces at 4 months old. My first son was 13 pounds even at 4 months, 2 weeks old. So they aren’t off by much. He dropped from the 17% to the 3%. They gave us the okay to start rice cereal and then try oatmeal. And then if he’s gained the right amount of weight we can start solid foods. But with all that being said, could it just be that my babies are going to be large babies? My first son was born at 7 pounds 6.5 ounces and my second son was 8 pounds 5 ounces. Both 21 inches long. My first son didn’t get chunky until around 6 and half months old and as soon as he started crawling he was starting to slim down. At three years old he just reached 30 pounds.

I honestly just don’t think I make heavier/chunky babies. Pictures of both my babies. 💙💙
