Baby Acne?!

My baby girl is 6 weeks old & has bad baby acne! I've tried the Aveeno wash & lotion our pediatrician recommended, but it hasn't helped. I know it will eventually go away on its own but it looks so uncomfortable. Anyone have any luck getting rid of it?

My baby got it bad at about 2 weeks. It was just all over his face just red bumps. I started wiping his face with just warm water twice a day with nothing else & letting it dry out (no lotions) & within 4 days it completely cleared up. His face got super dry though so now that his acne is clear I started putting a little lotion on the dry patches & his face is smooth again. Maybe worth a try? The lotions & wash might be making it worse. I'm

Is it red with some dry crusty areas? My daughter had some and I was just waiting it out but ended up going to the doc after a week and she said it was infected (though it didn't look terrible) and gave us antibiotics. I'm not sure when you know it's normal and when it's not.
