So, maybe a little bit tmi but i’m pretty sure i have a yeast infection. Have a bad itch and when i looked with a mirror down under i saw white discharge pieces(?) in my vag 🤢Going to call the doctor in the morning to check. I’m 38+3 so i’m extremely scared i will go into labor with an active yeast infection. Anyone else experienced this? How fast can it be treated 😭 I feel really ashamed.

I’m 36 weeks+ 2 days pregnant. I’ve had 2 yeast infections throughout my pregnancy. I had one recently and was worried about the same thing. With the first infection I took Monistat- 3 day treatment, and then with my second infection I took the 7 day treatment. Before I could finish up my last treatment I got swabbed for the existing infection & I was all cleared up.

Yeast infections are common and there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Your dr will probably prescribe medicine.
