Irregular spotting

So I’m irregular and i got my period last month. This month i thought i was gonna get it cause i was getting cramps and when i wipes it was pinkish/redish. This was Friday Jan 17th so i though i was going to get it. But nothing so i just let it go. Well come the following Friday Jan 24 i wiped myself and it was a brownish color as well but just when i wipe that’s never happened before but I’m not sure why? Can anyone help? Anyone gone through this?
