An hour after bedtime? 🤦🏼‍♀️

My babe wakes up around an hour after bedtime almost every night and needs serious consoling. He's falling asleep independently but with a soother, and this happens whether the soother has fallen out or not. I thought it was because he was taking terrible naps and being overtired, but the last few days he's been napping better and it's still happening! 
Anyone else? Any ideas?

Mine does too. From what I've read that's the end of the first sleep cycle and waking means they aren't connecting sleep cycles... Other than holding my daughter for about an hour after she falls asleep...I haven't found a fix yet. It's weird though because one night she'll sleep through until midnight then the next she's so after an hour... Babies are too complicated

Mine wakes up every stinkin night 45-60 minutes into bedtime and just needs to picked up and patted until he burps, and then he's immediately back out 🤷 he's been this way for months. My mom said me oldest sibling was the same way. I don't want to leave him to try to connect his sleep cycles because I know he just needs to burp 🤷 and yes, I've always made sure he burped good before putting him down, it doesn't make a difference.

My LO does this occasionally and usually always means he’s still hungry. He’ll drink 4oz at bedtime and wake an hour later and down another 4oz.

Do you by chance have a consistent bedtime routine?

Mine is doing that right now. I let him fuss for a bit and he will eventually go back to sleep. He fusses less now than when he first started doing it.
And because he does go back to sleep now, i know the few times he wakes in the middle of the night and doesn't go back to sleep, instead gives his angry cry, that i know he's really hungry.

Following! Mine does the same. He wakes up every hour to hour and half still though 😴 thought it was 4 month sleep regression but he’s 5 months now
