How to keep baby entertained while out?

I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday. My boyfriend will be at work so I don’t have anyone to look after my son. I’ve took my baby to one of my appointments before for something else and he was screaming and really cranky the entire time.

I always feed him and try and get him to nap before I take him anywhere. Once we’re out I give him toys and it only distracts him for so long.

Since I’ll be at the dentist, he will be sitting in his stroller. So I won’t really be able to attend to him for about half hour or so.

Question is, is there anything else I can do or bring with me to distract him as long as I can?
