39+2 today, I’ve been sitting at 1cm (barely, depending on the doctor that checks me) and 50% effaced for 3 weeks. I’m being seen Wednesday, 1/29 and will be scheduling my induction most likely for the weekend, which the doctors are highly suggesting because of my swelling and severe hip pain. I’m nervous about the induction not taking and leading to a section. My cervix is still high and posterior based off my last check on Friday.

Does anyone have any successful induction stories they wouldn’t mind sharing that were semi in the same boat as me? My hospital does not allow pregnancy past 41 weeks (long story but I’m fine with it).
