*****warning talk of suicide******

I have my moms side of the family and my dads side. On my dads side one of my uncles unfortunately took his own life before I was born. While I never met him, I do wish I could’ve met him. The reason he did it, is because his wife left him while he was away on military business. Packed up everything including his 2 sons, down to literally the toilet paper roll.

My dads side of the family seem like they’re really close to her and I guess I don’t understand how someone can be close to someone who put someone through so much mental harm that they would take their own life. I know people make the decision to do that but she took his kids from him and they were his life.

And because of my uncle taking his life, his kids grew up with drug addictions (apparently the moms new boyfriend was a drug addict) so all in all great person right? Would you be close to someone who did all of that?
