OPK fail?

So I have been tracking my ovulation using Clear Blue Advanced Digital opk and I had negative ovulations yesterday and the day before (the blank circle) and then this morning I forgot to test. I came home from work and tested and while waiting for the test notice a lot of egg white CM. Then the test came up with a solid smiley. So there was no flashing smiley at all! Has anyone else had this!?

Thanks Ladies!! It was still so soon for it to pop up and my fiancé was surfing haha. Safe to say I pounced the second he got home 🤣

Yes happened to me 2 cycles in a row and now this cycle I am getting high fertility.  I also forgot to test once or twice last cycle so may have missed the estrogen surge.  In any event, I was told the one that matters if the LH surge which is peak so you’re good!  Baby dust!! ✨💫🌟

Yeah, you might have even missed it not testing that one morning or you had a short surge window. I have definitely had cycles where I get the flashing smiley one day then the next is solid with very little warning!

Morning! The flashing smiley face is just to show the estrogen surge. The solid smiley face is giving you a positive Luteinizing Hormone surge. Saying that ovulation is close. I used this OPK for  the first time this past cycle so can’t say that I have experienced this. Good luck and baby dust to you!
