Is this normal??

I am 2 days PP and I am having some pain on the left side of my body right above my hip and ovary. It’s not going away with pain meds and pretty constant with a sharp pain every once in a while, I’m not really bleeding that heavy and I’m not passing any big blood clots... just wondering if the pain is normal? has anyone else experienced this??

I had a c section 2 weeks ago and I get the pain your talking about. Mine also radiates into my pelvic joints. It only happens when I over do it but when the pain is there is stays for hours and nothing helps besides a good sleep.

Sounds like the ovary. It’s normal.

I had really bad lower back pain after giving birth but nothing sharp. I'd definitely mention it to a doctor. Do you or baby have an appointment soon?

I’ve never experienced that kind of pain after birth.  I’d let a doctor know so they can check things out.  Post birth pain for me was in my uterus (cramping) and lower abdominals.

Is this normal??
