Birth control to regulate periods?

Has anyone’s doctor prescribed birth control to regulate period? I’ve been ttc for about 2 years now with no luck , but I do have irregular periods. I finally made an appointment with my doctor and she prescribed me birth control pills to help me regulate my cycle. Has anyone had this happen , if so , how long did it take to regulate them and how long af the r you stopped did you finally conceive? I’m feeling really down 😭

While on bc it would regulate mine. Once you come off of it I’m not sure how that would continue to keep you regular

I was on birth control for years and had a regular period when I came off I can’t get my body to regulate

I was told to take them to regulate mine but didnt. After 18 months of trying we gave up started bc back for 1 month forgot to get my refill then ended up being a week late. I was prego. Fingers crossed for you!
