Can your LO follow the instruction “give me —“ without gestures?

Posting again as it wasn’t clear.
If your LO knows the word of the item (eg teddy, block, etc), can they follow the instruction “give me —-“ without you using gestures (ie holding your hand out). Eg “give me teddy” and they pass you teddy.

My daughter understands exactly what I'm asking so runs away with whatever I ask for. 🤷🏽‍

My little one can follow instructions really good but theres days when I ask for things and she just shrugs her shoulders and rolls her eyes and walks off🤦‍♀️ she gives me to much sass for a 1 yr old

Yes! He is so bad to steal remotes so I say “bubba bring me the remote (or phone, or juice)” And he’ll bring it. Even if he’s laid it on the floor and forgotten about it, he’ll still go get it.

Not without gestures I don’t think as I tend to always put my hand out. If I said “Give me dinosaur” (his toy dinosaur) without gesturing he would probably just look at it/ go over to it/ get it himself or show me rather than actually give it to me.
