How long did you wait to conceive?

How long did you wait to try to conceive after your miscarriage? I was 7 weeks but only measured at 5 with empty sac and miscarried naturally. My doctor told me after my first period but do really have to wait until a period?

I’ll start trying again immediately after my first cycle.

I waited to try until I got my period. My doctor had told me to do so. I didn’t wanna risk anything like infections. Also I didn’t wanna be wondering if itsa new pregnancy or old Hcg if I got a positive test. It was a long 7 weeks until I got my period, but then we started trying again

Mine also said to wait for at least one period. I miscarried on 1/7 and I’m anxiously awaiting my period.

I'm still waiting for my first period after my miscarriage. But we plan on trying again immediately after that. Just try whenever you feel comfortable again, and when your doctor says it's ok.
