anyone else scared of commitment?

i feel like after i got my heart broken for the first time ive just been sooo scared of love. ive turned down relationships, friend with bennefits, and even crushes. i get so scared i just cant let myself go and enjoy it i get this weird feeling in my chest that blocks all of the good emotions of falling and i just cut it off . idk if it makes sense but its scary :((((

I understand. I have a hard time letting my emotional guard down with men. I usually date men that I don’t have a connection with so it doesn’t hurt when things go wrong. I currently found a man that i have a great connection with , love is really scary thing.

I promise u  will find one Simeon who is  on your level and will take time.  My advice. Let yourself. Heal.  Have you time. Find your self  once your happy. Things will eventually happen.  I’m in same boat my last relationship I got hurt big time  still not ready for realtionship   Just really been concentrating on my mental healthy and having me a d son time.    X

Yes, I'm currently in that situation. I'm terrified of trying and getting hurt again. I'm talking to a guy but I told him I want to take things at a turtle's pace and that if he finds another girl that I'd completely understand, we are both still single but seeing each other. It may sound weird but I'm just not ready for a relationship yet or to be a girlfriend and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. As long as you communicate that I'm sure guys wouldn't mind, casual dating is a thing and maybe one day it'll develop into something more, but don't stress about getting into a relationship. You'll know if the time is right
