I’ve had a crush on one of my friends for a little while. One of the girls in our friendship group tells me he likes me and I should ask him but I’m not sure. 
If he doesn’t like me, I’m going to feel embarrassed and awful but my friends keep telling me he does. I’m not sure what to do.

Personally if it was me, I would make sure that he likes me like how my friend says first before asking him out. That way if your friend was exaggerating you wont look like a fool. Maybe u two should connect more and talk so that way u feel more comfortable opening up to him?

Sweetie if he likes you he will pursue you or at least talk to you and try and feel the water and see if you like him. There is never a need to ask a man out. If he’s interested in you he will make the effort and be consistent if not, then you know you’re wasting your time. If you want to just hang out with him as a friend and take things slow and see where things go, that’s fine, hey, do you want to grab a coffee sometime type of thing. But you should never have to chase after any man. Otherwise that just makes you look desperate and men tend to take advantage and use you.
