Question about breast pump

Tonight when I went to go pump, one of my backflow protectors started to not work. It was still sucking but it wasnt sucking correctly/pulling my nipple. When I took it apart to see what was going on I noticed there was some moisture in it. So I dried it out and tried to put it back together and it wont go back together. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I just need to replace it all together?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated
