Copper IUD

My husband and I have been talking about what kind of birth control would make sense after I have my baby soon. I have had a lot of issues with multiple different kinds of hormonal birth control before, they all make me feel depressed and tired and bad, the hormones even the different combinations I've tried just never work quite right with my body. I want to do the copper IUD I think, but my husband is quite uh well endowed, would this hurt him? I've heard stories about men saying they hit it quite a lot from friends and stuff. This may be a dumb question, but yeah. Anyone have IUD and good expierience or bad? I hate birth control in general.
