So my sister and I have never been close. We each have one toddler. My sister has a 4 year old boy and I have a 2 year old girl.(I’ll be having my second baby girl soon). I just feel like I’m always in competition with her. She is always comparing them and saying my daughter is under weight and how she needs to eat more. Now people in my family are bigger and we have a few health problems. So I don’t want my daughter getting to big to fast like my nephew did and he has health problems because of it. Because of my sister always comparing them I feel like I can’t have a relationship with my nephew. From the very beginning I feel like if I didn’t do something she didn’t like she wouldn’t let me be around him. Which I understand Because it’s her son but now she bitches about when I do that with my daughter. I want my daughter and my nephew to have a relationship but I’m getting pretty sick of my sister always comparing them. I don’t say anything bad about her son when she is comparing them. I defend my daughter saying she is right were she should be for weight and height. She is so freaking smart. She is 2 and can count to 10. She knows all her colors and her abc’s. I just wish she would stop comparing them.
