Baby shower?

So my husband and I are military and I'm due April 9th and we are moving at the end of February because we got orders to move back home.  Has anyone had there baby showers yet that are due in April? Or are they waiting a little longer? Most of our family knows we are moving so we haven't gotten anything for the baby yet because it's a cross country move and I'm kinda freaking out a bit.  I don't even know if I'm gonna have a baby shower at all.

My baby shower is next sunday! Im due april 13th. Everyone keeps telling me its too early on here for a baby shower. But i want time to organize and put everything away. And my energy level is getting lower and lower each day.

Girl don't stress! Our shower is next Saturday and we are due April 14. My hunny and I are both working a lot right now to save up for maternity leave and we want to make sure I have the time and patience to get the room set up and everything put in it's place. Most people who know me think it's a great idea to have it when we are. I've had only a small handful make comments that it's too early. I sweetly tell them why and let them know they aren't required to come.

Mine is the 16th of this month and I’m Due April 8th.  You really don’t want to have to pack up a ton of baby stuff and you have plenty of time.

I would wait until you move to do your baby shower, it’s never to late, you could even have a welcome baby baby shower after the baby is born if needed

Do a shower by mail! We did because we live so far from everyone. Was not about to travel when flu season is rampant and then figure out how to get gifts to my house. Trust me....it’s way less stressful.

I am due April 3rd and just had my baby shower January 26th. We are moving to a bigger home the end of February so it’s nice knowing our shower is done and we can just prepare for the baby and focus on moving. We also now know what we still need to get for baby.
