normal?

at my 6 week check up this past week, i told my dr that i still had light spotting up until 2 or 3 days before that day. she told me i looked all healed and was cleared to resume normal activities, including sex and working out. that night my fiancé and i had sex. we took it slow and used lube. it’s been a few days now but i’ve been spotting again ever since. is this normal? is there a chance i’m not as healed as we thought?

edit: should we refrain from having sex again until i’ve stopped bleeding completely? am i still at risk for infection?
