please read and help

I am on the pill birth control. last month I started the pill later than I usually do (I got the pack 2 weeks after I was supposed to start). I started the pack as normal and did have condomless sex since back on the pill (starting right away). My vagina is spotting today (which is the day I would’ve had my period if I had started the pack on time). do u think this blood is from the period I was supposed to have or like pregnancy spotting? me and my boyfriend are freaking out.
