Does every doctor give a NST?

So with my first pregnancy Iknow I’ve never had a NST and I feel like this time around I might due to the fact I have GD but then again I feel like I might not because I didn’t with my first. Starting at 32w I’ll be having weekly visits with my specialist but other than that they haven’t told me much more.

I’ll be having them weekly after 32 weeks. My pre-pregnancy BMI was one point over the “normal” range, so they treat my pregnancy as high risk due to “obesity”.

I didn’t have it with my 1st which was a normal pregnancy. I had one with my 2nd who had IUGR but only because I freaked out when her movements changed. I will be having NSTs every appointment from now on but only bc my baby is in the 13th percentile.

I had a couple w my first pregnancy, at the end when my blood pressure was high and then again when I went overdue.

I only had an NST when I made it to 41 weeks my last pregnancy just to make sure I could go longer.

I had GD with my first. I didn’t have a NST until my due date to make sure it was safe to go past my due date. Each practitioner is different though.
