7w2d pregnant, can i still have an ectopic pregnancy?

No blood, a little sharp pains come and go on my right side... could this be an ectopic pregnancy? what was your story? 😔

The only way to know is an ultrasound.
However, everyone develops what's called the corpus luteum cyst on the ovary the egg came from, this supplies nutrients to the embryo until the placenta takes over. It's very common for this cyst to cause a sharp pinching pain.

Yes it can be ectopic. Some people don’t know until 8+ weeks when their tube ruptures and they need emergency surgery. Some people experience painful symptoms and others don’t. 
I was told my first pregnancy was ectopic. I had chunky light bleeding and pain on one side. I was much earlier than you though at that time. I don’t believe it was ectopic. If anything I think I could have been miscarrying. I had an ultrasound done in the ER and it would have been way too soon to see anything to know 100% but that’s what I was being told by medical professionals so I believed it. I terminated the pregnancy because I didn’t want it to get any further and risk rupturing or needing surgery. 
My current pregnancy I was getting the same time of pain on one side but did not have any bleeding. They did an ultrasound closer to 6 weeks and could see it was not ectopic. I was having pain from that cyst on the side I ovulated/implanted from (like the other comment says) and it was normal. 
So it very well could be either one honestly, I don’t want to scare you. They also say a lot of times with an ectopic you will have pain in your shoulder/neck too. I’d say call your ob and see what they think sooner than later. Maybe they can do an early ultrasound for you. ❤️
