How do you shave your legs ? I need help 🪒

Sooo today i was going out & noticed that my legs looked like chewbacca . So before getting dressed i hopped in the shower & shaved my legs . I wet them first then i added shaving cream & shaved afterwards . I noticed that afterwards they burned like crazy 😫 so i put coconut oil , but it did nothing to it . 7 hrs later I’m still burning 😭 i need tipsssss 🪒🦵🏼🔥

First guess is that you need a new/fresh razor. Everything else you did sounds normal to me.....I might throw some lotion on my legs right after shaving, something with aloe in it 🤷‍♀️ but I don’t do that every time.

My legs look very similar to this. You might have Keratosis Pilaris. It causes bumps all over your legs and I even have them on the backs of my arms...

Happened to me all the time. I switched over to laser hair removal and I never get that anymore. My legs also are free of spots/redness/irritation. Of course it’s pricy, but I think if you can afford it you should definitely try it. Just not having the terrible itching afterwards makes it worth every penny for me.

Was the razor dull? I use the Billie razor and it’s seriously the best freaking thing ever. I have zero issues with it

1) Make sure you are using a sharp new razor. I only use my leg shaver 3 times before I retire it and only use it for my underarms until I have to toss it.
2) Make it the LAST thing you d pin the shower. Letting the heat and water and steam open your pores up really helps.
3) Exfoliate before hand. DONT scrub the crap out of your legs as it will lead to worse irritation! Just use a gentle exfoliatior and lightly rub in circles where you will be shaving. Your goal is to just slough away any dirt or dead skin cells for a closer shave.
4) Stop using shave cream or gel and try using your hair conditioner. Put a layer of conditioner on your legs and leave it for a minute or two. This softens the hair and allows a smoother plane for the razor to pass over. Plus it leaves your skin crazy smooth afterwards.
5) Moisturize as quickly as possible once you are all rinsed off. I leave some water on my legs and i use a generous amount of lotion to help lock in moisture and assure smoothness.

Thay used to happen to me. . Use aftershave. I used my brothers couse I didn't have another option. It will burn like ...bad. but the alcohol will help with closing your pores

You should be in the hot shower for a while, usually this happens to me when I shave and my body is not “steamed” yet. 
Try to spend more time under hot water for pores to open up and for skin to become softer....
And do a gentle scrub before shaving. But not the one that has oil in it. It will block your pores....

When shaving. Try to only go over the same place twice, at most. The more you go over it, the more irritated it will be. Use a sensitive skin shaving cream. I like using a no lather shaving cream. Make sure you have a sharp, clean blade everytime you shave. A dull one will tear up your legs. Exfoliate before hand, I use a sugar scrub. And moisturize after. I use in the shower lotion, and then after I dry off I put on regular lotion.
