Pee or water leaking ? Labor ?

I’m 38weeks5days pregnant. I’ve been losing my mucus plug & spotting on and off since Wednesday. Friday morning I woke up losing a lot of clear watery discharge or something. I had to change my shorts twice and wear a pad all day. I went my appointment that day. My doc said I was basically still 2cm ( like the last two weeks ) except more soft and thinner. I’ve had the clear discharge since Friday and it hasn’t seemed to lighten up. My doc didn’t say anything about it. And since I got checked Friday I’ve been having painful contractions but they don’t have any pattern. Do you think labor could be soon ? And should I be worried about whatever I’m consistently leaking or is it just incontinence ? Also I know it doesn’t mean much but baby dropped😃 just confused because I didn’t have any of this with my first !
