Is my baby going to be huge?

Question for my experienced moms out there:
Our baby has been measuring ahead throughout the whole pregnancy. I’m currently 29 weeks. Midwife says he is on the larger side of normal and depending on the ultrasound/body part being scanned measures 1-2 weeks ahead. Does this mean I’m going to have a 9-10 pound baby?

My last consistently measured around 1 week ahead on ultrasound and fundal height. No gestational diabetes. He was born at 40+2 and was 9lbs (and I'm not going to lie, it was a very long, hard labor, but did it naturally). There are so many factors to consider though, how sure you are about dating, how many ultrasounds you've had (they get less reliable for weight as time goes on), how long you actually carry baby, etc. And even if they're all pretty sure the dates are right remember that weight estimates are still just estimates, not a for sure thing. They can be off by up to two pounds in either direction.

There no way to know. The measurements are best guess and can vary based on who takes them etc. i was told baby would be well over 9lbs....he came out 7lbs4oz

My first born always measured about 2 weeks ahead my whole pregnancy. Although he did arrive about 2 weeks before my due date he was only 6lbs 14oz. I think they mostly just guess.

My first born consistently measured about 4 weeks big the whole pregnancy and he only ended up being 9 lb 7 oz. They thought he would be well over 10 lb so you just never know 😊

You never know..  I gained a lot of wight and water no gestational diabetes had him at 40 +1 and he was a big boy 9.15 lbs. Every one was shocked how big he was.  Due with my second in 7 to 9 weeks well have a growth scan around 36 weeks and if baby looks good doc said we can induce at 38 weeks. Only reason being I dont think i can handle going through all that again the long labor and the tearing. Anyways everyone is different. But I do feel smaller with this one. Been trying to stay on top of retraining water but its creeping up on me 😣
