Is it weird to have a blog your SO doesnt know about?

I've had this blog since I was super young. I went through a lot in my life and it just kind of became a place I let out my feelings bc it was where I felt comfortable. Its always been a secret. Not even my best friend knows about it. My SO snooped on my phone a found it about a year ago and just recently told me. I dont ever really say anything wrong but I do vent about our relationship and thats why she hates it. She yells at me now when she sees it. Am I wrong for being upset that she found it and didnt tell me for so long? I'm a very closed off person and I need my space, I need something that's just mine and it hurts that she took that from me.

It was wrong of her to snoop and read it but I also don't agree with seacret in a relationship. I personally would have told my so about it but asked him not to read it as it is private. But every one is different and every relationship is different. Maybe she felt hurt that you hid it from her. Is it a private blog or can people online read it? If it is online maybe she felt hurt that people on line are reading about your personal fights and arguments in your relationship. Either way she crossed a line snooping like that.
You'll have to sit down and talk to her about it and explain that she hurt your feelings and trust by reading something so personal. When she found it she should have left it be and could have asked you about it instead of reading it. Hopefully you can work it out and she can re build your trust. If not it may be time to move on.

Is your blog public? If it is, I do not think she was wrong in reading it and not telling you bc you're telling the world about your thoughts and feelings and the relationship. If it is private and she snooped on your computer then it's liek going through a phone or a diary -not really okay.

It’s not weird and yes I think she is wrong for that. Everyone deserves a healthy outlet to let out their frustrations. It’s inconsiderate of her to just be reading what you say with you not knowing she knows about it and reads about it. Snooping in general is a red flag to me.

That in and of itself would’ve been the end for me. I’ve had people read my diaries before and then have the audacity to write a note in it. Happened twice. Never ever considered those people friends again. My business is my business. Hence the reason I haven’t personally shown you.
