What's the first step to get out of a toxic relationship? I have 4 dogs and nowhere to go. I own the house we live in. It was none before we got together. Idk what to do he just won't leave! And the police don't do anything because he established a residency. What do I do?

Depends on your state laws. Usually you can serve them with a 30 days notice and if they don’t leave after that, you’ll have to go to court to evict them.

Oh and after he goes to work, change the locks. Put his shit on the curb!! But only do that after you give him notice to vacate house!! If you have an electric garage door opener get a new remote recoded so he can’t use it!! 
Keep a copy of the notices to vacate you gave him, so after you put his shot out, change the locks, he comes back call police and charge him with trespassing!! From their if it happens again, get restraining order, and he should hopefully get it your done!! 
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR HOUSE!! This is YOUR home NOT his!!

Okay first off are you married?? Can u prove the home is in your name only? If your not married just dating, and house is yours not his and yours, give a 3 day notice to vacate.
If that don’t work, then a 30 day notice with a legal document showing that you will file an eviction if he refuses to leave!! 
Have the sheriff dept serve the notice, if he goes ballistic, it will be noted. 
Get to court and tell the judge you are no longer in a relationship, you own said property and want him OUT!! 
Any proof you can show you have asked him to leave, text, email anything and he refuses, show this to the judge at eviction hearing!! This is why you give 3 day notice, then 30, after that court!! 
I can go to law depot.com, and get both notices and fill them out.
