Leaving baby for weekend at 10weeks?

Question

We have a wedding out of state(3hr flight) and baby will be 10 weeks old. Do you think it's ok to leave baby for 2 nights with a trusted family member? I'm worried it might be too soon, on both me and baby, but it would be so much fun to attend this friends wedding and get away as a couple for the weekend too. Thoughts?

It’s a completely personal choice. Some people feel comfortable, some don’t. For me personally, I wouldn’t want to leave my baby so young, that’s just outside my comfort zone

Personally I wouldn't, I'm nervous about wanting to go to a musical for a few hours/over night when my babe will be 4 months old. But everyone is different.

If you trust them then there shouldnt be an issue. 
My baby's got to sleep over at like 2 weeks with my parents and my mother in law. But I trust them with everything I got lol

It’s whatever you’re comfortable with. Could the family member come with you and stay at an accommodation with the baby while you’re at the wedding?

It's a total personal choice. I'm sure your baby will be absolutely fine and you will enjoy your weekend. I couldn't do it but I respect anyone who does! Enjoy yourself xxx
