What should the inside of a vagina feel like when it’s not wet

I feel like maybe somethings wrong or maybe this is normal, if you aren’t wet and you feel inside your vagina does it feel like thick kind of mucus feeling, I also took my finger out and saw this, is it normal?

It looks normal. Your vagina is never ever totally dry. It will be extremely painful.
Your vagina is not just an open 'pipe' in your body. When you are not aroused, the walls collapses onto itself (like a fire hose without water in it). If you are dry, this will be very painful when you move and the vagina walls rub together

The thing that changes throughout your cycle is your cervical mucus, but your vagina keeps on producing mucus and fluid to clean itself and libricate the insides.
And when you get aroused, your vagina will lubricate itself to make penetration easier. 
When our discharge burns or itches, smells bad, is green or blue, or is chunky like cottage cheese, it is likely an infection.
