Needing advice

Ok y’all—I am so confused. You’re going to be asking what type of shady doctor I went to, by the end of this. (Trust me I’m wondering too.)

I had a miscarriage last month. Bleeding started on the 7th; before I ever began bleeding they had tracked my HCG down to 12 (but never zero, which I’ve since learned is the norm).

I was getting negative pregnancy tests before I ever even began bleeding.

We had sex (hubby bday) around the time I would have normally ovulated; I had some weird pains (thought AF was coming) several days ago but never any bleeding. Now two days in a row I’m getting faint positives. Should I be excited?! Or could this somehow be from the last pregnancy??
