When do you typically get your second ultra sound done?

I am 11 weeks and I was just curious when you usually get your second ultra sound done? Two of my friends are due in August with me as well and have already received a second ultra sound but I have not. I'm just super impatient to hear my baby's heart beat for the first time and see the baby again 😁

It depends on your insurance. Most insurances cover at 12w (for the NIPT) and 20w (for the anatomy scan).

I had one at 8 weeks but they haven't said anything about scheduling a second one yet. I have a 13 week check up with my NP but that's it so far

My first one was at 8 weeks and then I had another at 12 weeks.  I also had my anatomy scan at 22 weeks.  I don't know what's standard, but that's what they did for me.  I'm not high risk either.  I'm guessing it depends on the doctor's office as well as insurance.

I had my first at 8 weeks. Second and 11 weeks for the NT ultrasound test. And then a third at 20 weeks for the anatomy scan. Though I’ve also had a level 2 ultrasound every 3-4 weeks since the anatomy scan because I’m considered high risk. But that was ordered by my obgyn as necessary to track the growth and health, and I get it done at a Perinatal specialist office (high risk doctor).
