Why do I throw up on my period.

For the past two years I have been vomiting on my period. I’ve expressed my concerns to my primary doctor, who doesn’t seem to care. All he does is put me on birth control. 
I’m tired of staying home from school. Anyone’s has any idea of what this could be or what I can do to help it?

It’s probably from a change in hormones during that time. Your doctor is most likely putting you on birth control because that is what will help you.

This happened to me when I was younger. Birth control helped. It doesn’t happen to me now as an adult

I always end up getting sent home from school

That’s definitely not normal. I’d see a gynecologist or midwife

I know someone who used to throw up on her period. She went on the pill and it got much better.
