Hcg levels not doubling but rising

I was hoping someone has had a similar experience with a good outcome. I went in for my first hcg blood test on Friday and it was 192 which was right where it was supposed to be since I’m about 4 weeks. I went back today and it was only 327 so it hasn’t doubled. The nurse basically said the numbers are not by the book and talked about what to expect if I have a miscarriage. I feel devastated. I go back Wednesday to test my blood again. It’s only a couple days away but that feels like an eternity. Anyone had a good outcome or did you miscarry?
