Anyone else terrified of labour?

I already suffer with very bad anxiety and it’s been quite good during my pregnancy but I’m terrified about labour!

Don't watch or read about any traumatic birth stories.  Also, cut people off if they try to tell you about their own bad births. I am trying to go into it with a positive mindset to help me relax. I've been listening to and reading about hypnobirthing to help me with it. I'm not 100% sold on it, but I think it will help.

Childbirth without Fear is a good book that you can read. I really enjoyed it and it changed my views on laboring and this is going to me my fourth birth! I am actually going into this one kind of excited! Hope it helps you too!

You should work out. Exercising helps with labor. I've never been one to work out, but I try to do something everyday now. It makes me feel a lot stronger and more confident that my labor will go well. Plus, it is go mentally too.

Yes, same here, though I’ve done it before and it went super, super well. But two nights ago, I woke up in the middle of a dream of doctors putting my baby on my chest right after I’d delivered it, and I’ve felt calmer since. So yah, I feel like I’m a bit all over the place emotionally.

Just breath hunny that's the best thing for you and baby I know it's a cliche but when I had my first I remembered what this lady told me "never scream & just breath" baby needs you to relax so he or she can relax
