Nurses or Techs who can read bloodwork!
I am 37+6 and at my last two appointments, my blood pressure has been a little high. I also gained 7 pounds in 7 days between those appointments, which is more than I’ve gained most of my pregnancy. My doctor ordered blood tests to check for gestational hypertension yesterday.
I got my results this morning, but according to my doctors office my doctor is in surgery at the hospital and unable to review my results for a while. Anyone have any insight on what these levels could mean, or how they relate to each other and/or hypertension?
Iron is still a little low (I’ve been on iron supplements since they found that level was low at 28 weeks).
BUN level low
Glucose a little high
Alkaline phosphate level high
Albumin level low
Thank you for any thoughts or insight!
