So nervous I will fail again
So my son is 3 and he was born 37 weeks 5 days, he had a bit of jaundice and tongue tie that I was able to get clipped at 2 weeks old, however I have gigantic tatas, arealos and flat nipples and his mouth was small and almost immediately after he came out the nurse let me know that breastfeeding wasn't going to happen due to the size of my breasts and his mouth 😭😭
I'm having a girl this time and I'm due to be induced sometime next week at 37 or maybe a little after and my fear of not being able to breastfeed is daunting. I just want to be successful 🥺🥺 I was able to pump some with my son but my supply couldn't keep up with his formula feeding habits and rapid growth. Were any Mamas unsuccessful the first time EBF and had a better time the 2nd time around? Idk if having a baby born early makes it harder but I am remember feeling so let down having to give up last time with my son. I just want that Bond and to know that my baby is getting the best thing. Also, are there any Mamas that had retracting nipples/flat nipples that were successful at breastfeeding? TIA
