LOL! My husband and I are 26 and 27 and we live paycheck to paycheck. I've tried to start a savings so many times, but something always comes up that we need the money for.

Have you created a income/expenses sheet? look to get the most out of your money by using credit cards that offer points on certain items and use websites such as Rakuten. Increase skills by taking classes/getting a degree in industries that are always hiring like nursing, IT etc. To not have any student loans look for jobs that offer reimbursement, they will usually pay 100% of class cost how many classes per year will vary with the company. Eat at home instead of out, get rid of any unnecessary services such as cable. also I would speak to a financial advisor they can look at your finances and go through everything with you.

Iโ€™m 21 and we only keep a $1,000 emergency fund right now. We are doing Dave Ramseyโ€™s steps in order to pay for college as I go/paying off existing student loans but once that is done then we can focus on building our savings I canโ€™t wait ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Love Dave Ramsey. Really helps! I recommend his courses to everyone.

Hey I donโ€™t know anything about Dave Ramsey but maybe look into jobs that offer tuition reimbursement if you havenโ€™t already? Thatโ€™s how I ended up not paying for classes only materials and books. Good luck!

Currently about 100k. But wonโ€™t be there long. Going to start surrogacy and that shit is expensive.

Ugh, Bills. We moved further North of the city we live near and I kid you not, our bills are now a 1/3 at least of what they were! That's helped massively too.

Lol makes sense! Because my whole income between me and my husband is only 80000$ a year, and 90% of that goes to bills haha! We are obviously in the wrong fields haha

We budgeted, cut back on unnecessary expenses and sacrificed a lot. Husband has an amazing job that allows us to save a comfortable amount. Wasn't always like that, we lived paycheck to paycheck and got screwed over by a family member and almost lost our home.
