Is it normal to usually only feel baby when laying on my back? Anterior placenta.

I'm only 20 weeks and have felt him for a while now. Anterior placenta. Once in a while I'll feel him sitting up though.

Answer

At 20 weeks the baby still has a lot of room to move around, so yes, that’s normal. I had anterior placenta with my first and although I was able to feel her moving and stuff periodically, I didn’t feel consistent kicks until after 21 weeks. Even then they weren’t big kicks. The big ones came later.
