What are you all doing with your 12 week old?

She spends a lot of awake time on her playmat in the playroom with me and her brother, or in the carrier. I feel like I'm not doing enough. She hates tummy time and the carseat. I interact with her a lot, she has the cutest smile and laugh.🥰 What else do you all do with your babies?

This is super silly but I carry her in superman position and chase her big brother through the house. He thinks it's hilarious and she gets some practice driving him crazy 🤣

My baby loves tummy time now with the fisher price piano mat. He likes to stare at the keys when it plays songs and he bobs his head along. Super cute (and he’s 12 weeks.)

My son is almost 11 weeks, I put on sesame Street, sing to him, tummy time, play peek a boo by tossing a blanket over his face (when I take it off he's smiling) I use his legs like he's riding a bike, I even roll him from his stomach to back, and back to stomach. He loves tummy time now though. So I'm glad about that.

My daughter loves to be on her feet so I bop her around on my belly or the floor while I’m singing. Other than that we do pretty much what you describe so also open for new ideas 😄

Mine is obsessed with sitting up right now and not really interested with being on his play mat. I support him while he sits and looks at his toys. Sometimes we watch tv or listen to music. I never know what to do with him lol

Play mat (playing with toys and tummy time), reading and singing. We also go for about an hour or two walk In the stroller. But not a ton of different stuff. I feel like how many times can we do the same thing over and over???! I asked doctor and she said it was more than enough, though. I talk to her all day long too. Doctor said just keep up a lot of interaction. Next week we are gonna start going to story time at the library and sing along at a local boutique and the zoo. I think she’s too young to start spending a lot of $$ on activities. Tbh I think going places is more for me than her at this point.

I put on baby songs and sing and dance with her. I put on Doc McStuffens while I clean or cook and she seems pretty entertained. I just ordered some black and white stimulation cards from amazon while we do tummy time(bc she hates it) talk to her all the time in silly voices, the same as you have a play mat with dangly toys, read to her. I also feel like somedays I don’t do enough since I’ve gone back to work😞 oh and she watches the news with her daddy every evening lol
