I’m 38 +5 weeks and going to be induced on Sunday. This is my 3rd delivery and my son who I last delivered is now 12! I was 19 when he was born and did not opt for an epidural for either of my boys. Now that I’m “older” I’m a bit nervous that I won’t handle the pain as well. To be honest I’m a bit more terrified of the epidural than birth itself... but don’t want to change my mind at the last minute and opt for the epidural and suffer the whole time.

My question is to moms who’ve had the epidural done... honestly how painful is it to receive and take out? Was it worth it? Pros and cons please!!
