Boy or girl?

Question

Is it true that you get morning sickness then you’re having a girl? 
What made you think you were having a boy or girl and were you right?
I just have a feeling in going to have a boy but everyone keeps telling me I’m going to have a girl because lately I’ve been getting sick I’m 12 weeks.

Those wives tales are nonsense.
My personal anecdote is I have two boys and was deathly ill with both of them. 
I also have a girl and not one, NOT ONE episode of nausea or vomiting during my entire pregnancy with her. I actually asked for an urgent scan at 10 weeks gestation because I was sure I must have had a missed miscarriage with her because I was so completely 100% pregnancy symptom free. She was perfectly healthy though. Don’t buy those boy/girl myths.

Morning sickness has nothing to do with it. Two friends of mine were sick their whole 9 months and had boys. My mom has 4 girls, 3 if she never got sick and got sick with the last one and still all girls

Unfortunately, I’d have to say no. I had TERRIBLE morning sickness. Quite literally getting sick 3-5 times A DAY until I was well into the second trimester. Four whole months of utter misery....to find out I’m having a baby boy. 💙
