Thoughts on deleting your SO’s family on social media??

My husband’s family has never been very accepting of me, even though I’ve always been nice to them. They’ve done many hurtful things since we’ve been married. One of the worst things happened a few months ago with my 17 month old, my MIL, and his family. I was livid and deleted his family off Facebook (end of November).

They were supposedly sooo hurt I did this, but I still haven’t added them back and honestly, it’s more peaceful not having them on my social media. They still act shocked I did this. I think they thought I was too “nice” to do something like that.

Have you/would you delete family off social media? Would you be hurt if your SO did this to your family?
